What’s great with move in ? Is that you can find something forgotten in an hidden box and (re)discover it with pleasure ! Here, that old scarf begun in september 2007 (yes !). Yes, for that pattern, the yarn is not so 100% quality (100% acrylic) but here, the pattern is the most interesting thing : a subtile combination of knit and purl stitches with 2 colored yarn and the skull appears ! Back from holidays (a few days with family in the countryside)  … with a new project! I took a sweater just started, a few balls to try gauges and samples and here I am : coming back with a new yarn, a new catalog and a second pull started ? Well, I will explain everything :  My Parent neighbor knits. And you know what ? Less than 3 month and my new vest is done ! Note that is my first Fair-isle ! This a Wendy Baker Pattern, from the Martin Storey book : Knitting for him. I made it with the suggested Rowan Yarn (so chic : yarn bought in London !) but I just change the main color from light grey to dark green…  THE YARN : quite rough at the first sight (but it’s a tweed one!), quite fingering > you know, knitted in US3 needles seems to be soooo long sometimes… but it worth it ; the yarn is good for fair Isle and the colo ...
